Part of Three Rivers Services commitment to our customers is our Maintenance Agreement Program. In order to get your air conditioner ready for the summer, we perform a comprehensive, multipoint Spring Checkup. Below are just four of the twenty services included.
#1 – Clean the Outdoor Condenser
As Jacob Dominguez explains, one of the first actions that we do is to clean the outsider condenser. This will allow more air to flow through the coil, which helps your unit work more efficiently, saving you up to 15-20% on your electric bill.
#2 – Check Your Electrical Components
Next, we check all of your electrical components to make sure that they are in range, functioning properly, and will get you through the summer. If something is not as expected, then we will notify you immediately and let you know what needs to be done.
#3 – Examine the Drainline
One of the most common issues we find when we are doing our Maintenance Agreement is a drainline problem. We make sure that the water flows freely and runs clear, improving your air conditioner’s effectiveness.
#4 – Inspect the Ductwork
It goes without saying, but you absolutely do not want fungus in the ductwork, especially if you have children or others in the home with allergies or asthma. However, in Louisiana, 80-90% of the homes have fungus in the ductwork because of the very humid climate in Louisiana. Therefore, you want to be proactive, not reactive, and clean your ducts before they become problematic.
With everything closing right now, many of us are spending nearly all of our time at home. And as the temperatures are rising, you are most likely home running your air conditioning unit. Schedule your spring checkup, which is part of our Maintenance Agreement Program, to ensure that your unit runs effectively, efficiently, and cleanly!
